Elaine Crain, DNP

"Dr. Elaine Crain is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with 17 years of primary and urgent care experience. She was an emergency room and critical care nurse; and served as a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Public Health Service. She serves on the Board of the Maryland Academy of Advanced Practice Clinicians and on the Maryland Nurses Association Legislative Committee

She received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice with a focus on Leadership and Legislation from Frontier Nursing University, KY. She has a Master’s in Nursing from Bowie State University; a Master’s in Nursing from Pace University, NY and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of the South, Sewanee, TN.

Dr. Crain is part of Annapolis Concierge Medicine with Dr. Stephen Katz in Severna Park. She is an avid sailor, competes in sailboat racing in Annapolis and is making the move from ‘stick-boat’ to 'stink-pot' as she now owns a Shamrock, named Añejo."
