About Dr. Jazini
Dr. Jazini earned a bachelor's degree with honors at New York University and attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine for medical school. He completed an internship at the University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus and orthopedic surgery residency training at the University of Maryland Medical Center and the R. Adam Cowley Shock Trauma Center. He then completed combined neurosurgery and orthopedic fellowships in adult and pediatric spine surgery at Norton-Leatherman Spine Center Hospital and University of Louisville Hospital.
He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He began his career at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital before joining an independent practice. He offers both non-surgical and surgical spine care, so patients can look at options that support natural healing before surgery comes into the picture.
He performed his 100th prodisc cervical disc replacement surgery and was reported as the fourth spine surgeon in the United States to reach that milestone. He led a 2026 research study on using modern technology to improve surgical healing. He has volunteered with Health Volunteers Overseas, including an orthopedics traveling fellowship in Bhutan.
