Jodie Stone, PA-C

"Jodie is a graduate of the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and has been a board-certified Physician Assistant for 23 years. She also holds a Master of Business Administration from the GWU as well. Jodie has extensive experience in orthopedics and spine. She has worked with Dr. Wayne Olan for over 10 years in neurointerventionalradiology treating spine disorders and helping athletes return to play after injury and those with debilitating back pain get back to life.  Her special interests lie in Regenerative Medicine therapies such as Stem Cell, A2M and PRP injections to regenerate and heal musculoskeletal and joint issues.

After seeing so many young athletes receiving steroid injections just to keep them on the field or jumping straight into surgery and older patients just stop playing the sports they love because of pain and aversion to surgery is when Jodie’s interest in regenerative medicine began. “Patients need to be educated that there are other minimally invasive options. Regenerative medicine therapy is an excellent alternative that has minimal downtime and the potential to completely avoid invasive procedures such as surgery.”

Jodie serves as a preceptor for many Physician Assistant students in orthopedic/sports medicine. She is a sports fanatic, avid runner, and when not treating patients can be found training or watching any competitive sports game."
