About Dr. Grunert

He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Naval Regional Medical Center, Oakland, and a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at the University of California San Francisco.
After returning to Houston to begin private practice, he established the IVF program at The Woman's Hospital of Texas in 1983. He founded and directed the assisted reproductive technology program at Houston Fertility Specialists. He believes in a personal, individualized approach to evaluating, diagnosing and treating infertility.
He sees patients from around the world, including many who have not succeeded with treatment elsewhere. He also supports the LGBT community in their efforts to build a family.
