About Dr. Savarino
Dr. Savarino earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stony Brook University in 2000. He earned his medical degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a family medicine residency at North Shore Plainview and served as chief resident from 2007 to 2008.
He then completed a sports medicine fellowship at North Shore-LIJ Plainview, where he worked with two NCAA colleges and local high schools. He is board certified in family medicine and sports medicine, and he holds the RMSK certification in musculoskeletal sonography. Before opening his practice, he performed more than 10,000 procedures, including Tenex, PRP, stem cells and ultrasound-guided injections.
