About Dr. Bhosale

Nitin Bhosale, MD, is a psychiatrist at TOCDOC in Champaign, Illinois. He holds board certification in three fields: Clinical Informatics, Psychosomatic Medicine, and Adult Psychiatry. Dr. Bhosale has worked in diverse healthcare settings and has experience treating a broad spectrum of mental health issues, ranging from more common psychiatric disorders to complex neuropsychiatric disorders and those with significant medical co-morbidity.

He completed medical school at Seth G.S. Medical College in Bombay, India, completed his internship at the Medical College of Virginia, and graduated from the Psychiatry Residency Program at Yale School of Medicine. He completed fellowship training in psychosomatic medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, affiliated with Harvard Medical School. He also completed master's level courses in medical informatics at Northwestern University and has achieved board certification in clinical informatics.

Dr. Bhosale is a proponent of evidence-based medicine and integrative medicine, and he believes in treating the person and not just focusing on the illness. He also receives referrals from other community psychiatrists for patients with treatment-resistant depression. His honors include the Amazement Award from Banner Health and the Paul E. Kaunitz Award for Consultation Psychiatry from Yale School of Medicine.
