About Dr. Lindley

Dr. Lindley earned his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed a general surgery internship and a neurosurgery residency at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine/Wake Forest University Medical Center. Early in his career, he saw that complex spine disorders would take up most of his practice.

He believes an accurate diagnosis is the most important first step toward successful treatment. Dr. Lindley has been a principal investigator on several clinical investigations with Memorial Health, including cervical disc replacement, lumbar facet replacement and cervical spinal cord trauma. He was also chosen as a primary investigator for a study of the TOPS System, a possible posterior arthroplasty device for Grade I spondylolisthesis and spinal stenosis.

In 2010, he performed the first posterolateral lumbar disc replacement in the United States. He is a physician at the Neurosurgical & Spine Institute of Savannah.

We completely trust Dr. Lindley.

"He has treated both my husband and me for many years; my husband had a neck disc replacement and I had a low back disc replacement. We completely trust Dr. Lindley."

Dr. Lindley is very professional

"Dr. Lindley is very professional and puts you at ease. He spends time with you and addresses all of your questions. He reviews your MRI and x-rays with you after showing them to you. He goes slowly through the explanations so you can comprehend and understand things clearly."
