Dr. Alexander Jack, M.D.

About Dr. Jack

Dr. Jack earned a B.A. in Biology from Cornell University. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Southern California, graduating with Highest Distinction in the top 5% of his class. He completed an internal medicine internship at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle.

He then completed a dermatology residency at Oregon Health & Science University and was selected Chief Resident. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. His credentials are MD and FAAD.

Dr. Jack sees patients of all ages for general, cosmetic and medical dermatology. He has a special interest in contact dermatitis and does patch testing to find skin allergies. He is interested in how added treatments, such as dietary and lifestyle changes, can help with skin conditions.

Before joining The Dermatology Center at Ladera, he spent four years in a multi-specialty group in the Seattle area and over five years in a dermatology practice near Austin. The Dermatology Center at Ladera has been working with patients since 2005. Outside of work, he enjoys travel, cycling, hiking and kayaking.
