About Lauren Talatzko

Lauren Talatzko is a physician assistant (PA-C) at Summit Medical Specialists. She holds a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree. She earned an undergraduate degree in biological sciences from UW-Milwaukee.

She completed her master's degree in physician assistant studies at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin. During her clinical training, she traveled to Peru and provided emergency medical services at a rural clinic in Moyobamba. She started her career as a PA in pain management.

That work built her knowledge of chronic illness and disease management. She is trained to treat chronic pain with both a traditional and a holistic approach. She has also treated alcohol and opioid abuse with medication-assisted treatment.

She takes time to listen and answer questions, and she builds each treatment plan around the patient's physical and mental wellness. She grew up in Southeastern Wisconsin and enjoys exploring local communities and traveling abroad. She also likes reading, watching movies and dogs.
