About Dr. Bacon
Dr. Bacon graduated from Loma Linda Medical School in 1984. He completed his residency in Family Practice at Hinsdale Hospital in Illinois, then served in Malawi, Africa for three years. An INMED blog post from 2022 reported that he worked at a mission hospital in Malawi and was medical director for 16 remote site clinics.
He moved to Colville in 1990 and has practiced in Colville, Chewelah, Grand Coulee, Republic and Spokane since. Nearly every year, he has traveled to Africa for one to four weeks to teach physicians in their home countries. An INMED blog post from 2022 also noted that he worked to establish the Hope Street Project to help ease homelessness in Colville, WA.
