About Dr. Sweet

Bethany Sweet, MD, FAAFP, offers DPC Family Medicine at Sweet Life Wellness Direct Primary Care & Aesthetics in Lacey, Washington. Dr. Sweet finished her undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University-Hawaii in 2002, earned her M.D. from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2007, and completed her Family Medicine residency at St. Peter Family Medicine in Olympia, Washington, in 2011. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She belongs to the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Sweet spent about four years living in Be'er Sheva, Israel, during medical school. She has spent extended time in Africa and the Middle East, and she has gone to Haiti more than once on medical and humanitarian missions. She joined Yelm Family Medicine in July 2011. After residency she worked in private practice in Yelm for over 14 years before opening her own solo medical office in Olympia. Her medical interests include women's health, obstetrics, pediatrics, and international health.
