About Jonathan Shomo
Jonathan Shomo founded Hastings Medical Clinic in 2022 to give primary and urgent care to his neighbors in the Shenandoah Valley. Shomo studied at Loyola College in Baltimore and took pre-medicine classes at George Mason University. He finished a degree in Clinical Laboratory Science at Augusta Medical Center in Fishersville, Virginia, and was accepted to the physician assistant program at James Madison University. His first job after finishing his PA degree was at the University of Virginia.
He later worked in a minimally invasive spine surgery clinic and was chief medical provider at Heartland Health Clinic in Dayton, Virginia. Dermatology is his first love in medicine, and he has extensive training in skin health. He likes dermatology procedures and stitches.
