About Dr. Mumper
Dr. Mumper earned his medical degree at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed his residency at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He is an alumnus of Bridgewater College, class of 1979. He practiced for 17 years with a large multispecialty group in Richmond before founding PartnerMD.
He co-founded PartnerMD in February 2003 and was its first doctor. Today he is Chief Medical Officer of PartnerMD, where he oversees clinical operations and mentors its physicians. His focus includes diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia and infectious diseases, and he has been principal investigator in more than 25 clinical trials in those areas.
