About Dr. Ellison

Dr. Ellison earned a Bachelor of Arts at Harvard University in 1975 and his Doctor of Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1980. He completed a residency in general medicine at Georgetown University Hospital in 1982. He has extensive experience treating hypertension, diabetes and hyperlipidemia, and his focus has always been on personalized medical care, wellness and prevention.

He is the Medical Director of Atlantic Medical Associates, which is part of Privia Medical Group. He has served as Vice Chair/Chairman of the Virginia Hospital Center Department of Family Practice, and he has served on boards including the Arlington Hospital Physicians Organization and the Arlington County Medical Society.
