About Dr. Pariser
Dr. Pariser trained at the Medical College of Virginia and received dermatology training at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Medical Center. He has been a full professor at Eastern Virginia Medical School since 1976. He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Pathology, with special competence in dermatopathology.
Pariser Dermatology Specialists has served Hampton Roads since 1946. In 2009 he served as president of the American Academy of Dermatology. He also served on over 85 Academy committees and spent 10 years as its secretary-treasurer and a board member.
He co-founded the International Hyperhidrosis Society in 2003. The Academy awarded him its Gold Medal in 2017. Dr. Pariser has written four textbooks and over 300 scientific publications.
He has been invited to teach dermatologists at over 200 medical conventions around the world. His focus areas include hyperhidrosis, eczema, psoriasis and photodynamic therapy. He has traveled to Tanzania several times to provide patient care and dermatology education to under-served populations.
