About Amy Allen

Amy Allen is a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Lone Peak Psychiatry. She completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at the University of Utah. She spent 3 years on an inpatient adolescent unit in Utah county and then 3 years in an outpatient clinic.

She has worked with people who are chronically homeless in New York City. Her experience covers trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD and women's health concerns. She is a trained trauma therapist and also provides medication management.

She is specialized in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), a trauma therapy.
