About Dr. Finch

Dr. Finch founded Direct Primary Care of Southeast Texas in March 2024. She is a board-certified family medicine physician. She earned an undergraduate degree in Biology from Lamar University.

Before medical school, she worked as an emergency department scribe at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2018 from the University of North Texas Health Science Center Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, Texas.

During residency, she completed a Street Medicine track with added training in care for people experiencing homelessness, harm reduction, and chronic hepatitis C and substance use disorders. After residency, she returned to Southeast Texas and practiced primary care at Legacy Community Health. She has pursued extensive continuing medical education in obesity medicine, lifestyle medicine and menopause care.

She practices with an osteopathic, evidence-based approach built on individualized, whole-person care. The direct primary care model lets her spend meaningful time with patients and stay fully independent in the care she provides. Her focus areas are preventive care, chronic disease management, women's health and medical weight management.
