About Dr. Shah
Dr. Shah earned a biology degree at Austin College, with a minor in art. Before medicine, she volunteered and worked at a non-profit law firm in downtown Dallas. She attended medical school in West Virginia and focused on rural underserved communities and international medicine.
She completed a family medicine residency at Oklahoma State University Health Sciences in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In Tulsa, she worked for several years as a hospitalist and as an ER doctor in the Indian Health Services system. She worked as an associate medical director across several hospitals in the Tulsa area and as a wellness clinic medical director.
Residency drew her toward acute medicine. She moved back to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and shifted to outpatient care. Dr. Shah is part of the OnsiteMD team.
She continues international medicine interests, recently working with an indigenous clinic in New Zealand. She is a native Texan who grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. In her spare time, she enjoys biking, kayaking and pickleball.
