About Dr. Williams

Dr. Williams is a psychiatrist in Austin, Texas. She trained as an integrative psychiatrist, and her work has moved further into the functional model over time. She built a framework called Source Psychiatry™ that brings integrative, holistic and functional psychiatry together in one evaluation.

The evaluation covers sleep, nutrition, stress load and trauma history, along with hormonal and metabolic factors. She looks at hormone shifts and gut health as underlying factors. Each evaluation takes two to three times as long as a standard psychiatric intake.

Care may involve functional testing, nutritional intervention, lifestyle restructuring and trauma-informed therapy, with psychiatric medication when indicated. She provides women's mental health care for emotional and hormonal changes across every stage of life. Her practice stays small, which lets her get to know each patient.
