About Lavon Williams

Lavon Williams earned a Doctorate in Nursing Practice and a master's degree in nursing from the University of South Alabama. She completed her master's internship at Biloxi Regional Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi. Her DNP residency was at New Leaf Behavioral Health Clinic in Wichita Falls, Texas.

She also earned two nurse practitioner certificates, one in psychiatric mental health and one in geriatrics. She is board certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and a geriatric nurse practitioner. She treats clients across the lifespan.

She spent more than twenty years in the United States Air Force. She established Holistic Balance, PLLC. It is a holistic psychiatric practice.

She works with children and teens who have ADHD or behavioral issues, and with adults who have depression, anxiety, PTSD or substance abuse disorders. She has a special focus on veteran and elderly populations. She provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, brief therapy and holistic care.

The practice offers telepsychiatry visits. The practice mission is mental health care that is comprehensive, integrative and compassionate.
