About Dr. Mahadevan

Dr. Mahadevan earned her medical degree from George Washington University in 2013. She completed a pediatrics residency at Advocate Children's Hospital in Chicago. She then finished two integrative medicine fellowships, one at the Northwestern University Osher Center for Integrative Medicine and one at the University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine.

Dr. Mahadevan is board certified in pediatrics and in integrative medicine. She is also trained in culinary medicine, nutrition, clinical hypnosis, mind-body medicine and shared medical visits. She practiced general pediatrics at Lurie Primary Care before joining the pediatric faculty at Louisiana State University.

At LSU she was co-director of the Cancer Survivorship and Lifestyle Medicine Clinic for four years. At VIP Pediatrics, Dr. Mahadevan sees mainly the practice's Concierge Choice members. She also books consults for traditional patients interested in a more holistic approach, for example for anxiety and ADHD, as well as nutrition consultations.
