About Dr. Patel

Dr. He earned his medical degree at MP Shah Medical College in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India, completed an internship at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, in 1994-1995, and completed a residency there in 1996-1997. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, holds certification from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, and completed the Drew University Humanity Program.

He is affiliated with Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital and Kindred Hospital Clear Lake, and has served as Medical Director of Park Manor of South Belt since 1998. He also held hospital leadership roles, including Chairman of Medicine at Southeast Memorial Hospital in 2005, and belongs to the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Harris County Medical Society, and the American Medical Directors Association.

Dr. Patel says he has always prioritized humanity in caring for his patients, aiming to provide individualized care with tact, sympathy, and understanding. He shares a line from his favorite textbook, Harrison's: "No greater opportunity, responsibility, or obligation can fall to the lot of a human being than to become a physician." He enjoys reading, swimming, touring, and boating, and speaks English and Hindi with patients.
