About Dr. Carter
Dr. Carter graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1996 and received her medical degree from UT Southwestern School of Medicine in 2001. She spent a year teaching public health while establishing a medical clinic in Peru. She completed her internship and residency at UT Southwestern and became board certified in Internal Medicine in 2005.
Dr. Carter joined the UT Southwestern faculty, consulting for surgical sub-specialists and teaching medical students and residents at Parkland Hospital.
