About Dr. Frater
Dr. Frater received a Bachelor of Science degree from Yale College in 1980 and his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York in 1984. He received board certification in Internal Medicine in 1987, in Critical Care Medicine in 1991 and in Emergency Medicine in 1996. He practiced emergency medicine at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas for thirteen years.
In 2000 he moved to ambulatory internal medicine at the same hospital. He founded E. Barrow Medical Group in 2008, the first concierge internal medicine practice in Dallas. He is a published poet, a birder, a fly fisherman and a wine enthusiast, plays tennis on occasion and rides a Peloton.
