Dr. Amy Offutt, MD

About Dr. Offutt

Dr. Offutt completed medical school at The University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio. She finished a family medicine residency at Christus Health and completed a fellowship with the American Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. She holds a master's degree in integrative medicine from George Washington University.

Dr. Offutt spent her first seven years in rural family medicine and obstetrics, then moved to treating chronic inflammatory diseases with integrative medicine. Early in her career she worked as a physician in a rural Texas setting caring for patients from newborns to geriatrics, in outpatient, inpatient, obstetrics and emergency care. She co-founded Heart & Soul Integrative Health and Yoga.

She believes she cannot do her job without hearing each patient, and she listens for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. She sees consultations as partnerships, listening first and then building a customized strategy for making progress. She does not hurry patients through visits.
