About Dr. Arthur

Dr. Arthur founded Arthur Direct Care and is board certified through the American Board of Family Medicine. He earned his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Before medicine, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University.

He worked as a registered nurse for 3 years. After residency, he worked as a hospitalist at Baylor Scott and White in Waco. He then moved to Pflugerville to work with Seton Medical Center in Austin. He says longer visits, fewer patients per day and easy access to a doctor are key parts of good primary care.

Arthur Direct Care does not bill insurance and has no deductibles or copays. The practice aims to keep its monthly fee low for people with insurance and people without it. Members receive wholesale prescription costs and discounted labs and imaging.
