About Dr. Gerstenberg

Dr. Gerstenberg received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree in 1993 from the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center at Fort Worth. He earned his premedical degree at Lamar University and completed his residency at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. He is board certified in family medicine.

He served three years in the United States Air Force at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. He spent two years in private practice in Shreveport, Louisiana. He built his own practice in Nederland, Texas.

He has a strong interest in preventative medicine, including osteopathic manipulation when needed, and enjoys working with pediatric and adolescent concerns. He offers traditional medical care and, when patients are interested, nutritional and alternative approaches through the clinic's wellness program. He is a certified Biote provider and has written a short eBook for people who cannot seem to get rested.
