About Dr. Waggoner

Dr. Waggoner earned a master's degree in anatomical sciences and her medical degree at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She completed her internship and residency through the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and the Methodist Hospitals of Dallas Family Practice Program. She is board certified in family medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine.

She practices family medicine at Methodist Premier Wellness - Southwest in Dallas, a Methodist Medical Group primary care site. She treats the whole person and studies functional medicine, an approach that looks for the cause of disease. Her work centers on personalized health and wellness plans that give patients focused attention and tools to reach their health goals.

She teaches patients how to flourish through better health. Texas Metro News reported that she was formerly COO and Medical Director of the South Texas Medical Center and a physician at Charlton Medical Group.
