About Debra Coplon

Debra Coplon, DNP, DCC, is the founder of Hope Primary Care, a primary care practice in Memphis, Tennessee.

Coplon received her degree as a family nurse practitioner from the University of Memphis and also earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, with a doctoral concentration focused on preserving kidney function in primary care. She holds the title of Diplomate in Comprehensive Care and a Family Practice board certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

She has worked under the leadership of nephrologists, endocrinologists, women's health specialists, and pediatric specialists in the region. Coplon has been recognized by The Memphis Healthcare Heroes Award program as a finalist. She volunteers as a healthcare speaker and counselor across the Memphis region and serves as a nephrology consultant for The Clinic Advisor. She describes her approach to patients by saying she sees every person as "fearfully and wonderfully made."
