About Dr. Morrison
Dr. Morrison completed a general surgery residency in Chattanooga at Baroness Erlanger Hospital, from 1977 to 1982. He then finished a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York, where he was Chief Cardiothoracic Resident. He joined the Erlanger Heart and Lung Institute in March 2017.
He took part in more than 250 structural heart procedures and helped bring transcatheter aortic valve replacement, or TAVR, to Chattanooga. His work has centered on complicated, high-risk procedures, including redo procedures and complex aortic reconstructions.
