F. Gwen Beard, MD, FAAD

"Dr. Beard graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in microbiology from the University of Tennessee. She completed her medical degree at the University of Louisville graduating Alpha Omega Alpha. She returned to the University of Tennessee to do her internship and residency. This was followed by a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and cosmetic dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania under Dr. Leonard Dzubow. Dr. Beard specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery as well as general and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Beard is board certified by the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic surgery, and she is on faculty at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She joined Memphis Dermatology Clinic in 1999."
