About Dr. Skochko
Dr. Skochko graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006 with an osteopathic medical degree. He also holds a master's degree in biology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the Pennsylvania State University. Before primary care, he performed antiviral research in the biotech industry.
He was commissioned into the Air Force in 2002. For nearly a decade, he was an active duty Air Force family physician. His patients included service members, retirees, civilian government employees and their dependents.
During seven years overseas, he deployed three times in Pacific-Asia. Dr. Skochko has served northwest Philadelphia in primary care in recent years. He opened Salveo Wellness Center as an alternative to what he calls an inefficient, overpriced and rushed system.
He enjoys patient- and family-centered care that stresses prevention, education and empowerment. He has run thirty-five marathons in twenty different states.

Adults 20 and older pay $89 a month for a membership at Salveo Wellness Center that includes extended office visits, sick and urgent visits, annual physicals and no copays.
Dependents 18 and under pay $29 a month.
There is a one-time, non-refundable enrollment fee of $99 per person, with a maximum of $199 per family.
