Dr. Rina Kapoor, MD

About Dr. Kapoor

Dr. Kapoor attended Rutgers College at Rutgers University as an undergraduate. She earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. She completed an internal medicine residency and a chief residency at University Hospital, Rutgers School of Medicine.

She also completed a fellowship at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson. She is board certified in integrative medicine by the American Board of Integrative Medicine. She is also board certified in internal medicine by the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons.

She has advanced training in functional medicine through the Institute of Functional Medicine. She became a Root Cause Dermatology Certified Practitioner in 2023. She leads ARA Integrative and Functional Medicine.

After more than a decade in internal medicine, she realized the system she worked within was not allowing her to make the difference her patients needed. She offers personalized GLP-1 therapy based on each patient's health goals. She enjoys cooking healthy meals, traveling and a daily yoga practice.
