About Kira Biron

Kira Biron is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and co-owner of Phoenix Rising Family Medicine. She became a co-owner in September 2020 and became its Primary Care Provider. The clinic was founded in November 2016, and the practice moved from insurance billing to a direct primary care model.

Her background spans intensive care nursing through family medicine. She spent almost 10 years as an intensive care unit bedside nurse. During that time she was also a resource nurse and a rapid response nurse.

She cares for patients of all ages. Her special interests are preventive medicine, women's health and metabolic health. She is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner.

She believes in finding the root cause of a patient's symptoms instead of only treating diagnoses. She enjoys horseback riding, camping and the outdoors in Oregon.
