About Dr. Manoso

Dr. Manoso has been an American Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon since 2007. His main focus is spine surgery. That includes multi-level cervical disc arthroplasty and minimally invasive surgery when it suits the patient.

His areas of focus also include hip surgery and total hip, knee and shoulder replacement. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 1997. He attended the University of Virginia on a full Army ROTC scholarship.

He completed an internship at Tripler Army Medical Center and an orthopedic surgery residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2003. He completed fellowships in surgical oncology and in spine surgery. Dr. Manoso served in the US Army and deployed twice to Afghanistan, the second time as a Forward Surgical Team Commander.

He was Chief of Orthopedics at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, before joining Orthopedic + Fracture Specialists in June 2016. He values communication and trust between the patient and their care team.
