Dr. Brett M. Andres, MD

About Dr. Andres

Dr. Andres was educated at Yale University before medical school. He earned his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University in 1998. He completed his orthopedic residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2003.

After residency, he spent a year as a research scholar. He completed a fellowship in shoulder surgery and sports medicine in Sydney, Australia. He completed a sports medicine and shoulder fellowship at St George Hospital in 2008.

He served four years as an orthopedic surgeon in the U.S. Air Force, including a tour of duty in Iraq. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in Orthopaedic Surgery. His areas at the practice are knee replacement, shoulder replacement, robotic-assisted surgery and sports medicine.

His areas of focus include knee orthopedic surgery, total joint replacement and total knee replacement. He places great emphasis on accessibility and communication with his patients.
