About Dr. Denes

Dr. Denes is a board certified orthopedic surgeon. He was an orthopedic resident in New York City on September 11, 2001. He spent three days on the front lines, caring for victims and rescue personnel.

He completed a sports medicine fellowship in Mammoth Lakes, California. During the fellowship, he worked with Olympic marathon runners from Running USA. He has served as a physician for the U.S. Ski Team, traveling with and treating its athletes.

He has trained in arthroscopic surgery and in shoulder, hip and knee replacement. He does anterior approach total hip replacements, and he does arthroscopic hip surgery as part of hip preservation. He also treats athletic injuries, fractures, arthritis and other degenerative conditions.

He learned to approach surgery like a detailed craftsman. He learned to integrate the latest medical advances while respecting each patient's individual needs.
