About Dr. Gillcrist

Amy Gillcrist, MD, practices Concierge Internal Medicine at AIM Health in Portland, Oregon. Dr. She is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She founded AIM Health to bring an affordable membership model of concierge medicine to more patients.

Dr. Gillcrist studied English literature as an undergraduate at the University of Oregon's Robert D. Clark Honors College, spent her junior year at Barnard College in New York City, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa upon graduation. She earned a separate bachelor's degree focused on basic science at Portland State University, then earned her MD at Oregon Health & Science University. She completed her internal medicine internship and residency at Providence Portland Medical Center.

Before founding AIM Health, she worked for 15 years as a primary care physician with Providence Medical Group. She now serves as Medical Director of AIM Health, where she sees patients herself and oversees the clinical team to maintain quality of care. Dr. Gillcrist has said she chose internal medicine for the chance to build long-term relationships with her patients.
