About Dr. Vaughan
Dr. Vaughan earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1985. She completed an internship in 1986 and an obstetrics and gynecology residency in 1989, both at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She began practicing in Texas before returning to Oklahoma.
She spent fifteen years with the group of women who opened Lakeside Women's Hospital, then went into solo practice in Edmond, Oklahoma, in 2012. Outside of OB/GYN, she says helping patients overcome obesity is the work she cares about most. In a December 2020 profile in the Edmond Outlook, she said she was especially excited to offer the Viveve treatment, a painless in-office procedure for vaginal laxity and minor incontinence.
She told the Edmond Outlook in 2020 that what she loves most about practice is the lasting relationships she has built with patients.
