Dr. Marguerite Weston, MD

About Dr. Weston

Dr. Weston is board-certified in family medicine and sports medicine, and she joined Donaldson Health in June 2022. She studied molecular biology at Ohio Northern University, then trained at The Medical College of Ohio, which is now the University of Toledo Medical Center, where she did her family medicine residency and a sports medicine fellowship. Her earlier work includes serving as a faculty and team physician at the University of Toledo and as a team physician at the University of Oklahoma, where she built the school's first disordered eating program.

She later joined the academic faculty at the University of Wisconsin, then spent five years as a primary care sports medicine physician at OhioHealth and was a team physician at Otterbein University. She uses vetted, science-backed diagnostic tests and works with women and men. She aims to avoid piling on prescriptions or supplements that patients do not need, and she looks for the root cause of discomfort.

She previously taught medical students, residents and fellows, and she speaks at community health events across Central Ohio.
