About Beth A. Edgerton

Beth A. Edgerton is a physician assistant practicing direct primary care family medicine at Freedom Family Medicine in Wilson, North Carolina. She studied social work at Taylor University in Indiana, where she graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree. She completed a master's program in physician assistant studies and biomedical sciences at the Medical College of Ohio, finishing in 2002 and receiving the program's Dean's Award. She worked as a family medicine physician assistant at Rocky Mount Family Medical Center until spring 2006, then as an internal medicine physician assistant at Boice Willis Clinic in Rocky Mount for more than 13 years before joining Freedom Family Medicine. In her practice, she especially enjoys treating women and geriatric patients.
