About Dr. Manning

Dr. Manning earned his MD in 2008 at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. He completed a family medicine residency at Vidant Medical Center and the Brody School, where he served as Junior Chief Resident and then Chief Resident. He graduated from the program in 2011.

Dr. Manning is a native of Williamston, North Carolina. He opened Martin Family Medicine after returning to his hometown. He later started AccessMedicine, an independent, subscription-based practice, after three years of insurance-based practice.

At AccessMedicine, visits run longer and patients get better access to care, along with a more holistic approach to medicine. Dr. Manning believes good health should be about the patient and family, not the insurance company.
