About Dr. Erway
Dr. Erway graduated with honors from Penn State University with a BS in Nutrition Science. She completed her medical degree at Temple University in Philadelphia. Her internal medicine residency was at the Medical University of South Carolina, and she was named inpatient resident of the year in her final year there.
She stayed at MUSC for 3 years as faculty in an academic hospitalist role. In 2015 she moved to Asheville. She taught the MAHEC family medicine residents and, more recently, was a core faculty member of the new internal medicine residency.
Dr. Erway joined Blue Ridge Premier Medicine to build long-term relationships with her patients, focus on preventive health and coordinate both outpatient and inpatient care. Away from work, she enjoys painting, baking and hiking.
