About Dr. Hummel
Dr. Hummel is the owner and supervising physician of the PrimeMD Aesthetics and Wellness Center. He is the founder and medical director of Prime MD, and treatments there are performed under his medical direction. He opened Prime MD in 2010 and has made it his medical focus since 2017.
He completed his undergraduate degree at UNC-Chapel Hill in 1998 and attended UNC-Chapel Hill Medical School. He completed his Family Medicine residency at the Mayo Clinic. He practiced emergency medicine from 2005 in emergency departments in North Carolina and Texas.
He uses customized hormone and nutritional supplementation with tailored lifestyle changes to work on energy, focus, mood, sleep, stress, sexual health, nutritional health and exercise. He was a nationally ranked heavyweight wrestler for UNC-Chapel Hill.
