About Dr. Belcea

Dr. Belcea earned a master's degree in computer science from Drexel University before entering medicine. He received his medical degree in 2000 from MCP/Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He then completed a family medicine residency at UNC-Chapel Hill.

After finishing residency in 2003, he went into solo practice in Raleigh, the Carolina Journal reported. A 2020 Medical Economics article described him as a family physician and owner of Wakefield Family Medicine in Raleigh.
