Dr. Sophie Bartsich, MD

About Dr. Bartsich

Dr. Bartsich is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She studied at Columbia University before earning her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York. She was accepted into the independent plastic surgery program at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

She has served as an assistant clinical professor of surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College, where she trained medical students and residents. Dr. Bartsich sees patients at her Second Avenue office in Manhattan and at satellite locations in Westchester and Connecticut. She welcomes local and traveling patients and offers virtual consultations for international patients.

She says patients should define their own beauty, with the surgeon acting as a guide. She is engaged in developing better breast implants and in work on preventing breast cancer.
