About Dr. Copperman

Dr. Copperman earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree at New York Medical College. He completed his OB/GYN residency at Yale University School of Medicine and his fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He founded RMA of New York in 2001 and serves as its managing director and CEO.

He has served as division director of reproductive endocrinology and infertility and clinical professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. His clinical topics include fertility preservation and IVF with pre-implantation genetic testing (PGT) of embryos. He has published more than 500 book chapters, peer-reviewed papers and scientific abstracts on infertility, IVF, fertility preservation, ovum donation and genetics.

He was a senior author of a study in Obstetrics & Gynecology showing that COVID-19 vaccination did not affect fertility outcomes in patients undergoing IVF. He enjoys playing Billy Joel songs on the piano.
