About Dr. Youkeles

Dr. Youkeles earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She did an internship at Beth Israel Medical Center and completed an internal medicine residency there. She also completed a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center.

Early in her career, she conducted research on the immunology and severity of asthma. In Mount Kisco, she and Drs. Angela Shao and Diana Arevalo started WestDocs Concierge. Before that, she practiced for many years at Westmed/Summit Health.

Her clinical focus covers COPD, asthma, alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency and how metabolic health and sleep link to lung function. She aspired to become a concert pianist and graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music.
