Dr. Pandya is a board-certified dermatologist who treats patients of all ages. She earned a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy at Rutgers University, graduating summa cum laude as salutatorian of her class. She received her MD from Rutgers Medical School, where she won a Distinction in Research award for her work on psoriasis treatments and the therapeutic benefits of green tea on sun-damaged skin.
She completed a one-year internal medicine internship and a three-year dermatology residency at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where she served as chief resident. After training, she split her practice between New Jersey and New York, most recently as faculty at the Mount Sinai Health System, before opening her own practice. She believes the way to skin health is a wholistic approach, and she often prescribes dietary, lifestyle and spiritual practices along with prescription medications.
Her work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals.
