About Jo Ann Beltre

Beltre is a board-certified pediatrician. Her experience covers general pediatrics, teen medicine, urgent care for adults and children, public health and global health. She earned an undergraduate degree in zoology and anthropology with honors from Connecticut College and completed a pediatric residency at the University of Connecticut.

She trained as a master instructor in neonatal resuscitation. Beltre has served as a medical director and has led urgent care teams across New England. She spent years in the traditional healthcare system before founding WanderCARE Pediatrics.

She moved to direct primary care so she could focus on patients instead of insurance red tape. She believes every child deserves someone who actually knows them. Families can choose a wellness visit at home, a sick visit virtually or in the Epping office, or text advice.

Beltre is fluent in Spanish. Her global work includes taking medical teams to Haiti, Madagascar, Tanzania, the Dominican Republic and other places. She enjoys adventuring outdoors.
